Involved in cutting-edge research and professional development activities as a part of a project funded by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). All of you have already started working on your individual tasks/projects and we look forward to helping you succeed in your endeavors.
April 10-13 to attend a conference arranged by DHS in Washington D.C. This is the 2013 Career Pathways Conference for Future Homeland Security S&T Professionals, which is scheduled for April 11-13, 2013 at the Westin Washington, D.C. City Center. This is an orientation conference where you will be introduced to the DHS research enterprise and receive a broad overview of the things they do at DHS. There will be a job fair on the second day of the conferences, so all of you should prepare to take several copies of your resume with you. All expenses connected with your travel will be funded.
